VOLUNTEER FOR THE SUN BUS
Skin cancer education and screening is something that I am extremely passionate about as I unfortunately lost my father at an early age due to Metastatic Melanoma. Volunteering with the Sun Bus gives me the opportunity to interact with and educate the public on the importance of regular skin cancer screenings as well as help provide fee skin cancer screenings throughout Colorado!
2021
COVID-19 VACCINATION CLINIC
We have all been affected drastically by the COVID-19 Pandemic over the past year and a half. I was fortunate enough to volunteer at RVUCOM's clinic and give out some of the first available vaccinations in Colorado. Being able to take an active role in fighting against this pandemic was an amazing experience and something that I am extremely proud to say I am apart of.
2018 - 2019
STEM TUTOR AND MENTOR
While living the DMV area and finishing my prerequisites for medical school, I worked with Boys Hope Girls Hope of Baltimore as a STEM tutor and mentor for academically capable children in need. This experience helped me not only gain a more solid foundation of my science background prior to medical school, but also gave me an enhanced understanding of cultural differences through interaction with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
